4 Months in...

Wow, I can't believe how quickly time flies! We have been open for 4 months now, and things have been busy! Crazy busy! But in a good way.
Between being a wife, a mom an Etsy Shop owner and self employed I sometimes wonder what I'm thinking, I also sometimes wonder what day it is! Add into that mix a new puppy, and that puts the icing on the cake.
For those of you that don't know me, I will give you the breakdown. I have three children, 13, 11 & 4. I am married, and I run a home daycare. I met my husband in college when I was 19 and a few years later we had our first child, our son Keegan. A few years later Meaghan came along and then many years later our youngest Addison. I work full time and sew at night and on the weekends.
Over the past four months I have opened Dandelion Baby, created a lot of blankets, made my first sale, my first International sale and made my fiftieth sale! I have had lots of encouragement and support from my family and friends and have acquired some fantastic customers, return customers and feedback. I am currently in the process of building up my facebook fan page and currently have a giveaway going on. To enter please visit my fb page and "Like"

Finally, after months of hard work I have opened my new Etsy Shop, and Baby Blanket business Dandelion Baby.  I decided earlier on this year that I needed to express some creativity and start a new venture.  So I have decided to become a "momtrepreneur"

I have always enjoyed sewing and being creative and love all of the fun, fabulous and funky fabric that is available. The fabrics I select are not your average baby blanket fabric. All of my blankets are made with top quality designer cotton fabric on one side, and the softest minky dot fabric on the other. The prints are bright and whimsical and the colours are modern and vibrant.

Now that I have my own business, I'm able to share my passion for funky, fresh baby blanket design that you won't see everywhere else.
